Director of Branding (Santa Clara, CA)

Due to the growth of our business, we are in demand of professional services of a Director of Branding. The Director of Branding will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Conduct company branding/advertising strategy research and development;
  2. Engage in the Company’s product and business development;
  3. Plan advertising campaigns, including which media to advertise in, such as radio, television, print, online media, and billboards;
  4. Negotiate branding and advertising contracts;
  5. Plan and prepare advertising, branding, and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments, and marketing agencies;
  6. Gather and organize information to plan branding campaigns;
  7. Assist with annual budget development;
  8. Work with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as budgets and contracts and the selection of advertising media;
  9. Direct the hiring of advertising, promotions, and branding staff and oversee their daily activities; 
  10. Manage subordinates and make sure project deadlines are met;
  11. Meet with team periodically to assess problems, delays, issues, updates, and successes;
  12. Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of a campaign team to advance campaign goals;
  13. Help to build on the company’s corporate image and culture.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in Journalism, Advertising or other closely related field, foreign equivalent degree acceptable;
  2. At least six months of experience in brand marketing and brand strategy;
  3. Skilled in branding, strategy, promotions, and product sales;
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Project/PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, and marketing, sales, and service software;
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
